RAMBO has new product! SOCKS!!!!, Two styles are available in a limited production run. We will have the Blue "RAMBO" sock and the black/red "Freeride" sock. Big thanks to Brad Mettee from DeFeet company for helping us with the order. The socks will be sold for low, low cost of $6 per pair, this means you can buy 1 of each style for the amount you would typically get a single pair. RAMBO intent it to get our Brand/logo out there and see it on the trail and also be able to offer a great deal. Below are links to what the socks will look like, note that the FR sock will be 4" cuff instead of 5", the FR guys siad their armor would cover up the sweet FR logo and they wanted to be able to display the logo instead of it being covered up! Now that is some Pride! chech em out and get 'em while they last, they will not last long. You can get your official RAMBO/FR socks at chapter meetings, work parties or any official rambo event or ride. Otherwise, just contact us thru the email contacts on this website. RAMBO FATS Camp Ride Weekend gamble a win for all

15-17 May 09 -- Emil -- FATS SC trails did not disappoint some 35+ MTBers who gambled weather would hold for our Spring getaway this year. Seemingly endless Group and email messages among volunteers and attendees beforehand paid off in an almost flawlessly planned weekend. Folks in carpools and equipment SUVs began arriving at the Petersburg Georgia Corps of Engineers campground on J. Strom Thurmond Lakesite Friday afternoon. 3 official RAMBO sites handled about 10 folks each. These are large sites right on the lake and limited only by the maximum number of vehicles permitted for each (4). Chattanooga Chapter (yes, folks all the way from TN joined in) and the Grieco's reserved their own sites.

16 April 09 - Wow! Quite a day and turnout for our 3rd annual Big Creek Time Trials mountain bike event last Saturday. This was our first ever Big Creek time trial that included Cross country, Slalom and Downhill runs culminating with the crowning of an overall King & Queen of Big Creek. Expectations were mixed after a rain re-schedule from 28 March. Overcast skies and cooler temperatures were no problem for what surely was a record-breaking crowd at Big Creek April 11th. Intermittent rain served to add a nice tack to the trails ridden by some 118 Time Trial entrants. Everyone had a great time...

Our bike has arrived in Rwanda! Last year RAMBO voted to donate $250 for one Cargo Bike that will allow one Rwandan coffee farmer to buy a bike and build a life in a challenging land. The "Sustainable Cycle" program helps fund the 1000 Hills Coffee micro-loan program. For entrepreneurial Rwandans bikes are vital to their coffee production logistics. The Roswell 1000 Hills Coffee Shop is a RAMBO sponsor, and invites you to stop by their shop for a gourmet cup of Joe, good-news stories of healing, excellent beans - all while helping a good cause. WELCOME BigCreek FreeRide
RAMBO BigCreek FreeRide is now a special part of the RAMBO MTB community. We welcome all area freeriders with this message from RAMBO FreeRide board member Chris Warren... Freeriding is a state of mind... a passion for discovering one's limits, and then pushing those limits to take you to new heights (literally!). Freeriding can free you, at least for a while, from whatever balls you up during the day.
Watch for Big Creek DH Work Party notices, Freeride news, gravity issues to be addressed here while we reformat the RAMBO Site to accommodate our own Freeride section. Visit the RAMBO Gallery where we'll post Big Creek Freeride pix. Use the RAMBO site contact form to voice your concerns, questions and comments. We welcome your involvement! In the interim, if you haven't done so already, sign up to receive fresh RAMBO Freeride News (see right column).
